   I'm not sure what you mean about preventing tags being displayed - on the edit page, or on the actual page?

   WordPress can display tags on pages, as can be seen by the pages on this website. It may be that your theme is just not including them.

   I want to prevent tags from being displayed on the actual page. The tags are being displayed via Headspace plugin. How can I prevent this ? They are pointless since the link to tag pages only lists POSTS which are tagged, not pages.

   AFAICT the file tags.php needs to be modified, however, I do not know what to remove.

   I think this solves the problem... comment out one line in tags.php

   function content ($text)
   {
   if ((is_single () && $this->show_post == 'always') || (is_page () && $this->show_page == 'always'))
   #return $this->add_tags ($text);
   return $text;
   }

   The display of tags is determined either by your theme or by the HS tag module option. Rather than modifying the plugin and so have to keep modifying it every time I release a new version you would be better to either modify your theme (and remove the tags from the page.php), or to simply disable the setting in the tags module.
