Redirect all incoming traffic from old website

First, nice website you have here. Very clean, well organized and professional. Congrats! Just one comment: I haven't tested your layout on a smaller screen, is it fluid enough to accommodate the 728x1028pixels (close enough?) layout? Just curious...

To the main topic. I just told GoDaddy to redirect all traffic from my old website, www.infoaboutdubai.com, to my new website, www.dubaiemploymenttips.com. The problem now is when someone goes to www.infoaboutdubai.com/path, they get redirected to www.dubaiemploymenttips.com/path where they see nothing but Error 404. Can I intercept all of the traffic that is coming from www.infoaboutdubai.com and directed to the homepage of www.dubaiemploymenttips.com?

Thanks,

You can setup a redirection on the first site that redirects everything (a regular expression (.*) will do this) to the new website.

    Thanks John.

The thing is, I have already configured my domain settings with GoDaddy, and I don't remember the previous settings. Is there a way to accomplish this using Redirection on the new site? If not, I'll email GoDaddy and ask them about the previous IP information, etc...

    Thanks,

Yes, like I said you can create a redirection on your old site that redirects every URL (i.e. /path) to the new site front page.

I'm sorry if I'm unable to explain this clearly.

I do not have access to the old domain now. I cannot install Redirection in the old domain. I have installed Redirection in the new domain. Redirection is now running in the new domain. Therefore, can I configure Redirection, in the new domain, to intercept traffic coming from the old domain and direct it to the homepage?

    Thanks,

No, it is not possible to redirect from a domain you do not have access to (using Redirection or any other method) - you need direct access to the domain.

Can't I tell my server that anything referred from domain x.com (which I don't own), I want to be redirected to mysite.com/index.htm?

You can only redirect on a site you own
