No highlighting
Hi,
I installed the plugin but for some reason I can't seem to enable highlighting. I tried with turning Force content display on and all combinations of Theme title position, without any result as you can see on http://www.grumpyoldman.be. What do I need to do in order to let it work.

Does your theme display any content on the search results page?

Yes, it shows the results properly. Only the highlighting doesn't work.

All I can suggest is that your theme is either not displaying the content with the_content or the_excerpt functions (check inside search.php), or Search Unleashed has not been configured to highlight text.

The search.php contains <?php require('post.php'); ?>, which itself contains <?php the_content(); ?>
Do you have an example on how the search.php should look like?

Found the problem. The theme is still using <?php if ($posts) : foreach ($posts as $post) : start_wp(); ?>
Fixed that and it works now.

OK, now that the internal search works fine, the Incoming Results highlighting doesn't show anything. I did all steps mentioned. Do I need to do some extra/modify stuff, template wise?

No. As long as the theme is displaying content the standard way (i.e. like in the default theme) and you have the correct SU options enabled then incoming results should be highlighted.

That's set to content & titles and nothing is highlighted and I compared the theme with the default one.

Ok, got the same problem. There's no highlight.
Fine at the search result http://www.cinereporter.com.br/?s=kubrick
But no highlight on the post itself.

Hi,
i have a problem with highlighting, too... - it simply doesn't work on wp ecommerce - is this by default or is something not working proper?
here is a link for a test installation - wp 2.6.3 ecom 3.6.8 search unl. 0.2.23 (today is nov. 8th.. guess this link will work only for few days...)

PS: tagging is not supported is it? products are tagged with tag1 for product1 and so on..

The highlighting problem is in the bug tracker.
I have not tested the plugin with WP Ecommerce.
