Nesting Problem

Perhaps I'm missing how nesting should work.

I've set a keyword of "Jim" in my Global Settings and selected "inherit global settings" within "Options". I then create a page and manually enter "Paul" and "Toni" into the Headspace keywords section.

I would expect to see "Jim,Paul,Toni" as keywords when viewing the page source of my new page. Jim being my inherited keyword, and Paul,Toni being the keywords I've added manually. However, I never see any inherited values. In this case I only see Paul,Toni - the manual entries I've made within the Headspace keyword section of my page editor. The same holds true for global tags - I never see any global tags find their way into my pages/posts if I've made any manual entries within the page or post.

I've tried this on 3 different sites with the same results so I'm guessing I'm wrong in my assumptions on how nesting should work. It appears that manual entries trump global entries.

Using Headspace 3.6.23 & Wordpress 2.7.1

OK. It appears inheritance of Global Settings only works when selecting "Checking this will mean...not be able to change your keywords independently" if you have the Keywords module enabled. A quick test shows that inheritance does not work with if the Keyword module is enabled and the aforementioned box in NOT selected.
