meta-data mass edits saving but not publishing

I find when I try the mass edit on titles and meta-data, the values are saved but not published in posts' HTML. I need to go into each individual post, where I then do see the values I inputted back on the mass edit screen showing in the Headspace module, and then hit "save" for the changes to take affect in HTML.

So something is getting hung up. Please assist? thx
