Drain Hole on wordpress MU

Hi,

Has anyone been successful in getting the Drain Hole download manager to work with the MU version of wordpress?

The plugin installs easily. Linking downloads to posts works a treat, but I have been unsuccessful in enforcing Access Level rights (which role can download) and getting the hits to register for a download. The download hits issue seems to be a scripting problem with the .htaccess setting.

I know MU is not supported offically, but it would be a great added to MU.
