Changing title of category

3 months ago | enviropro (Member) | |

Hello,

I am using headspace and All in One SEO for my titles and tags. I am trying to change the name of the title for each category page and am having no luck. It will only display the post title | in the web browser header. example: Water Damage | - Mozilla Firefox . I have inserted a line of text into the 'title' section of headspace on both the edit category page as well as the edit post page for that category. I cannot seem to override this post title for some reason. Do I need to edit the <title> <title/> tags in the header.php file? Feel free to take a quick browse of my website to see what I am talking about. You will notice that the title for the homepage was changed, meaning it is working fine for the pages. If you click on the Water Damage link under the services section, you will notice that the title is only the post title. [www.enviropro.biz] Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Josh

Can anyone shine some light on this for me? John?
(I just switched back to the default template to see if this is a coding issue with the existing template that I am using and no luck. Category pages still displaying only the blog title | blog name.)

    Thanks

The title is displayed using the function wp_title (), which should be present in your theme's header.php file. If you are using All-in-one SEO at the same time then this may be clashing with HeadSpace as it does it's own thing with the title.
