Adding noindex and nofollow to a redirection

9 months ago | netentre (Member) | |

Hey!

I did an article about Redirection plugin on my blog, following which some of my readers brought up the question of SEO implications of 301 redirects.

E.g.: Assuming that Google considers affiliate links as paid links, when using a simple 301 redirection for such a link, Google would see this as "cloaking"...

Having noindex, nofollow on that link would solve the problem.

Is it possible to do in any way when using your plugin?

Thanks,
Alex at Net-Entrepreneur.com

No, Redirection manages the physical redirection of URLs, not modifying links within posts.
