I love the redirect plugin, thank you, thank you

Now my problem, :)
I am getting 404 log entries each time someone views a page!
I installed the plugin around 6pm, and went about redirecting my old .htm pages to the new wp pages. Works great. But then looking at other features, I see 5 pages of 404 log entries, and nearly every one is for a favicon! And I have a favicon!. I made a new one & uploaded it, deleted the old one, but still getting the logs. I tried deleting it completely, but still getting them. A favicon is not really necessary, I'd be happy eliminating it and the log entries, if I only knew how.
