If you create the subdirectory
view/ajax-calendar
in your theme's directory and then copy the file
view/ajax-calendar/head.php
from the plugin's directory there then you can edit
head.php
and change the location of the CSS file
calendar.css
. This file will not be updated when the plugin is, but the plugin is smart enough to use your version rather than the default.

This might belong in the features forum, but I can't seem to find a way into it...

Would it be possible to distribute Ajax Calendar in such a way as to make it easy to keep my own CSS? I copied my own code to Calendar.css, but I can't auto-update the plugin, else my version of the file will be erased.

Also, would it be possible to support passing the (false) argument to get_calendar(), so my calendar will have Sun Mon Tue... instead of S M T... ?

Thanks

Possibly it could be a clearing issue. This is when an element on the page is 'floated', but the elements below it seem to move up. You can fix this by setting your footer element to have:

#footer
{
clear: both;
}

Or by inserting a new element that does the same:

<div style="clear: both"></div>
<div id="footer">etc..

I ordered and downloaded your book on modifying wordpress themes and as I work through it everything has been going along great until I got to the footers section.
Instead of being at the bottom of the page, the footer shows up just under the header and the footer text is at the very right of the page.

I have gone over the code in both the footer.php and style.css files a couple of times and it all matches the code in your book...so now I am officially stumped...what am I missing?

Hi, Could you help me please?
When I active at same time the Headspace2 plugin (SEO) and the e-commerce plugin, there are conflicts, example: the products page is empty when I click in a category or group who have jet products.

Is there a way to exclude the pages and post from headspace influence when the pages or post are used or shows ecommerce contents?

Thanks in advanced.

No, it is not possible to redirect from a domain you do not have access to (using Redirection or any other method) - you need direct access to the domain.

I do not have access to the old domain now. I cannot install Redirection in the old domain. I have installed Redirection in the new domain. Redirection is now running in the new domain.
The thing is, I have already configured my domain settings with GoDaddy, and I don't remember the previous settings. Is there a way to accomplish this using Redirection on the new site? If not, I'll email GoDaddy and ask them about the previous IP information, etc...

First, nice website you have here. Very clean, well organized and professional. Congrats! Just one comment: I haven't tested your layout on a smaller screen, is it fluid enough to accommodate the 728x1028pixels (close enough?) layout? Just curious...

To the main topic. I just told GoDaddy to redirect all traffic from my old website, www.infoaboutdubai.com, to my new website, www.dubaiemploymenttips.com. The problem now is when someone goes to www.infoaboutdubai.com/path, they get redirected to www.dubaiemploymenttips.com/path where they see nothing but Error 404. Can I intercept all of the traffic that is coming from www.infoaboutdubai.com and directed to the homepage of www.dubaiemploymenttips.com?

If you checked 'use tags' in the keywords module then it will use tags to define the keywords. If you leave this option unchecked then you will have a seperate keywords-only box - keywords and tags are not the same unless you configure them to be so.

Try as I might I cannot reproduce the problem with the description length. There must be something specific in your sites environment that is causing this effect.

re: Problem 1 above Description cutting off - I saw another post where you anwered this. I am changing the length in the description setting. But I had these problems.

1) I change the length and clicked save and then looked at the page and there was no description. Looked back at the setting and it is now 0. I changed it, clicked save, and the looked again and it was back at zero.

2) I then tried changing it, clicking save in the module and then clicking save on the bottom of the page, it then lost all the modules listed int he simple and advanced section. I added them back and it did show the modules I added. Still cant save the description length.

re: Problem 2 above.

So, I did notice now that I have moved the Keyword module into Simple, eventhough the field does not show on the Page Settings, the values entered in the tag field are now showing up as meta keywords.

Thanks for your response. I am refering to the meta description and meta keywords that I want to display in each page and am trying to set up in the Headspace page settings.

Problem 1:
On the Home page I get this:
<meta name="description" content="The young adult MacGregor Family Adventure Series is the story of Dr. Jack MacGregor, a zoologist, his wife Mavis, and his chilren Chris, Heather, and" />

It is set as:
The young adult MacGregor Family Adventure Series is the story of Dr. Jack MacGregor, a zoologist, his wife Mavis, and his chilren Chris, Heather, and Ryan. Jack MacGregor is on a year trip to sites around the world to study endangerd species. He takes his family along and they always seem to find adventure.

So it shows only part of the description I entered.

Problem 2:

Yes I want key words and not tags. I went to the Page Modules page, dragged the keyword module to the Simple group and made sure the check box was set in that module and save. When a revist that page the keyword module is listed with the check box checked.

I then when to the Page Settings to copy what I put in tag to keywords, but the keyword field did not show up.

Problem 3:

On the Page Settings page, when I click on Global Settings, the files (all three that I can see - Page Title, Description, Tags all exented past the blue box.

Thanks for any help.

I on the Headspace page settings I have Global settings for description and meta tags. These then show up on teh Home Page setting. (by the way the entry boxes for these are two wide for the page layout).

the descripotin show up cut off on my Home Page and the meta tags are not there at all.
