I also submitted a bug on this, but maybe someone else has already figured out the issue:

Whenever I attempt to upload a file using a filled-in form, I get

Thank you for your submission. Unfortunately your data was not accepted for the following reasons:

    * Failed to move upload

I have changed permissions on the target directory, tried just about every possible format for a windows directory name and have been completely unable to make this work. Any help is appreciated.

The most frustrating part is that the identical configuration executes perfectly on a test Linux box that I tried.

Thanks!

Hi John ---

I was able to create a form on a page and submit it and see the results in Filled-In. Couldn't be simpler. Thanks so much for this plugin. I am having trouble adding filters or processors though. Every time I click Add, the screen just refreshes. I attempted to add the Email filter, for example, and my error console shows:

Error: add_extension is not defined
Source File: http://hx.com/wp-admin/edit.php?page=filled_in.php&edit=1
Line: 1

Also, if I try to click the delete (red X) on the Forms List, it doesn't work. The error console shows:

Error: delete_form is not defined
Source File: http://hx.com/wp-admin/edit.php?page=filled_in.php#
Line: 1

Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Carlos Abreu

I've downloaded Filled-in and installed it in our WPMU 2.6 development system.

In case it is relevant, we don't install plug-ins in the mu-plugins folder but in the plugins folder. Using plug-in commander we then activate it on a blog by blog basis)

I've been able to build an HTML form, add it to a Page on the blog (using the EmbedIt 0.1 plug-in - otherwise most of the form information was removed)and then submit data sucessfully to the database. The data appears in the Form List and I can see it in the SQL tables. My problem is that I cannot save ANY changes to the extensions, so I can't do any processing on the form. When I change a pop-up and click the add button, the pop-up just goes back to it's default value. I am logged in as site administrator on the blog

FWIW the host system is a Linux Virtual Server controlled through Plesk.

I am using Firefox 3.0.1 on a Windows XP Professional Version 2002 with SP3, but the problem also exists with IE7

Any ideas please?

Hello John,

I installed the Filled In plugin at the remote server where my blog is hosted, and I am not being able to add filters (or any of the default extensions, for that matter) to my form. Whenever I select a filter and click the 'Add' button, the page just reloads itself. I tried to submit the form and confirmed that it works (the data entered shows up in the Filled In admin panel). The only trouble is that I can't apply any filters.

Funny thing is that everything is working perfectly when I test Filled In on localhost.

Perhaps, I need to configure something on my remote server? For the sake of completeness, following are the details of both setups (localhost and remote server):

localhost: XAMPP Lite version 1.6.5
OS: Windows XP
Server: Apache 2.2.6
PHP 5.2.5
MySQL 5.0.51.

Remote server:
OS: Linux
Server: Apache 1.3.39
PHP 4.4.7
MySQL 4.1.22.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I want to modify form input values. Example: Uppercase or First Uppercase form input values.
I modified some extensions at filter section, yes it's working. But it saves form input values without modified values.

Now,
For saving modified values, Where is the true modifying area? Pre, Filter, Post?
Is there an extension which you're modified data before saving database. I would like to examine it.

I would like to know if it is possible to use Filled In with forms that are not part of the post or page content, but are in one of the theme files. In particular, I want a contact form that is in the sidebar of my site (sidebar.php in my WP theme).

I have tried the following, with some success, but not full functionality:

<?php ob_start(); ?>
<form id="contact" method="post">
<some_form-related_elements />
</form>
<?php
$content = ob_get_clean();
$fi = new Filled_In();
echo $fi->pre_load('');
$content = $fi->the_content($content);
echo $content;
?>

I recognize the ugliness of doing it this way, but I thought I'd try it. I am able to receive submissions, but do not see the results of my filters and result processors.

Any ideas how to do this better? At all?

Thanks,
David Benton

Hi,

I have a file upload form and would like to access the uploaded file.

But I can't figure out where is this file uploaded?

In the options' "Saved upload directory" field, I have entered the value 'abc_uploads'. Where should this abc_uploads directory be created?

Thanks
